Product Video Prompts for Showcase Clips

Choose product video prompts by the detail your photograph can support: a glass reflection, a fabric seam, a ring setting or a ceramic rim. Use these prompts in Image to Video when you want to write the motion yourself.

Choose who writes the direction

H3 Max has two routes for an existing product photo. Image to Video accepts your written direction. Product Agent prepares its own direction and does not have a custom prompt field. These product video prompts belong to the first route.

Choose manual direction when you know what the shot should emphasize. You might need the camera to approach a visible clasp, leave room around a bottle or keep the frame fixed while a reflection moves. Product Agent is a simpler starting point when the aim is a short showcase and you prefer not to write that brief.

Before choosing a prompt

Name the visible detail

Finish this sentence: “The viewer should notice the…” Then identify that detail in your starting photo. If the answer is a hidden port, an ingredient effect or a feature that only appears in use, take a more suitable photograph or use real demonstration footage.

Product video prompts for glass and packaging

Transparent or reflective packaging gives you two possible subjects: the object itself and the light on its surface. Start by choosing between them. Product video prompts that request a spin, a moving reflection and a large zoom all at once can make a simple bottle difficult to inspect.

The two recorded examples use the same bottle image. The push brings it closer; the pull leaves more space around it. Pause near the end and compare how much room remains above the cap and below the base. The starting photograph does not contain readable product claims, so neither example is evidence that a real printed label will stay accurate.

Approach a bottle without rotating it

A slow camera push toward the bottle. Preserve its silhouette, cap, label and background. The product remains stationary. Keep reflections restrained. One continuous shot with no new text, claims or speech.

Recorded Image to Video request. Use a photo with the cap, label area and base visible.

For a dark glass bottle, watch whether reflected light changes the apparent color. For clear packaging, inspect the boundary between container and contents. Product video prompts can request preservation, but those words do not certify the generated material or label.

Product video prompts that stay near a ring setting

Small structures deserve a small movement. A ring's prongs, stone boundary and band thickness can carry more identifying information than its overall silhouette. Product video prompts should leave these parts visible long enough for you to check them.

The push and broad-orbit trials below share a source image. The orbit exposes substantially different angles. That asks the model to fill in surfaces the photograph does not fully establish. Inspect the connections between the setting and band; do not infer accuracy from a pleasing highlight.

Keep attention on a visible ring setting

Slowly push the camera toward the ring from the existing view. Preserve the band, stone and four prongs. A restrained highlight shifts across the metal. The ring remains still on the surface. No text, cuts or speech.

Recorded request for this pictured ring. Replace the stated prong count with your product's visible structure; never copy it blindly.

Four more materials, four different concerns

Adapt product video prompts according to what could become misleading. A stripe that changes spacing alters a garment's design. A shifting coffee handle changes the cup. A new hinge implies hardware that may not exist. Each draft below names the relevant parts rather than recycling the same product description.

Fabric: move toward the visible construction

The camera gently moves closer to the shirt fabric and visible buttons. Preserve the stripe spacing, seams, cuffs and overall garment shape. No change of clothing, people, hands, text or speech.

Recorded Image-mode request for the striped shirt. Suitable for an existing clothing photo; it does not request a model or virtual try-on.

Food: show the photographed serving

A very slow camera push toward the coffee cup and pastry. Keep the cup, handle, plate and pastry shape unchanged. Preserve the natural window light and table contact. No pouring, hands, text or speech.

Recorded Image-mode request. Review portion shape and table contact; the photograph cannot establish a cooking process.

Electronics: keep the hardware closed

A slow camera push toward the headphones and case. Preserve all visible details, hinges, seams and proportions. Keep objects stationary, with no simulated functional demonstration. No new text or speech.

Recorded Image-mode request. Use this when external appearance is the subject, not device performance or an invented interface.

Ceramic: reveal the surface without lifting it

A slow camera push toward the ceramic mug. Preserve the handle, glaze, rim and background. Keep the mug stationary and use the existing natural light. No added objects, text or speech.

Recorded Image-mode request. Check the whole handle and rim in your photo before asking the camera to move closer.

These product video prompts ask for appearance shots. A stripe pattern, glaze or surface finish may still change during generation. Play the download at the size you intend to use and compare it with the input, rather than approving the result from a small poster image.

A useful variation changes the emphasis while preserving the source. For a shirt, you might approach the cuff instead of the buttons if both are visible. For headphones, keep the camera near a photographed hinge instead of asking it to open the case. Write down which variation you made so the next result answers a specific question.

Give an advertising opening one visual job

A short opening can establish shape, reveal surface detail or create room for a later edit. Choose the job before adapting product video prompts. An opening that tries to explain every selling point usually needs information beyond a single product photo.

For recognition, keep the entire bottle visible and approach slightly. For texture, begin with the photographed seam already readable and move closer. For an ending with space, pull back a short distance while holding the product's position. These directions produce different framing opportunities for an editor.

H3 Max generates 5–15 second clips. Add your own captions, voiceover and publishing steps elsewhere. Leave planned text space in the source composition, then verify that movement has not filled it. A prompt requesting empty space does not reserve an exact overlay rectangle.

A short brief to complete

  1. My photograph clearly shows this product detail.
  2. The viewer should notice it through this single movement.
  3. I will reject a result if this identifying feature changes.
  4. I need this much surrounding space for the edit.

Turn those answers into ordinary sentences. Product video prompts do not need a technical vocabulary when the movement and inspection points are clear.

Check what your product video prompts imply

A generated opening mechanism may look plausible without matching the product. A newly glowing display may suggest a feature. A skin transformation would imply an outcome that a packaging photo cannot demonstrate. Remove requests for unseen function or effects before spending credits.

The GS1 Product Video Standard provides an industry reference for product video identification and presentation. Here, the practical check is to compare the generated item with the photographed item and the facts you can substantiate.

Can I paste product video prompts into Product Agent?

No. Use the prompt controls above to prepare an Image to Video draft, then upload your product photo and review the text. Choose Product Agent when you want automatically prepared direction. Its generated result still requires the same inspection.

What should I change after a poor result?

Identify the first unacceptable detail and change one relevant factor: use a clearer source, reduce the camera movement or remove an unsupported action. The distortion troubleshooting guide shows how to keep that next attempt focused. A new generation consumes its own credits and is not guaranteed to fix the issue.
